Train with the Champions was formed by a group of dedicated long-standing karateka in order to provide annual courses for all ages and abilities. Our Courses offer a variety of Classes each day in accordance with your grade and experience. Classes are divided into groups with different levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

 

Our Instructors are all former KUGB National and International Competitors. They are fully qualified Instructors, passing on their vast wealth of knowledge and experience.

They are all former Champions.

Students come from all parts of the British Isles and every continent, which adds an International flavour.  It is a great opportunity to exchange ideas.

​

The Instructors will work with you to improve your technique and increase your knowledge of Shotokan Karate, making you fitter and more confident in your future training.

​

There are special classes on each course for those who will shortly be taking Dan Gradings.  The feedback is that these extra classes prove highly beneficial in physically and mentally preparing Karateka to grade from 1st to 6th Dan.  

 

There is also an opportunity to find out more about the KUGB's Instructor qualification from Young Leader, right through to Assessor.

There are two courses per year, one held in Torbay, Devon at Easter and one in Lancaster, Lancashire in August.

​

Each course offers excellent training, as well as its own unique benefits based on location as well as extra activities outside of the core classes.
